What's in a name?
The superstition bug has bitten most of our industry wallahs, including the once-simple bloke, called Riteish Deshmukh. Ever since his Masti days, the young actor spells his name as 'Riteish', with an extra 'i'. When we asked where his belief in numerology suddenly stemmed from, he explained, "When I was shooting for Masti, the assistant director, Neeraj, told me to add an extra 'i' to my name on the first day itself. And then every day, for the next 80 days, he would nag me, giving me his own logic about numerology. I didn't believe in such things and it didn't matter to me how my name was spelt because I would still be ME in the end. So I just said, "Add it!" And it worked. However, I still believe that numerological beliefs are just psychological." Okay, seems like RD is only half bitten as of now!
