How sexed up should our fims be? That's a question that has been raked up in several discussion forums, Censor Board meetings and within the walls of our fimi studios. We asked the hunky Shawar Ali about his take on the sex-subject; after all, he's starred in enough of those titillating subject-exposes to know, either as the loyal husband or the ravenous lover. The actor has no inhibitions on the issue, saying, "Skin show and sex-oriented films are in fashion and there's nothing wrong with that. And, yes, sex plays an important role to sell a small budget, small star cast film. The only hitch is that people get a chance to point fingers at it, because it comes from a small banner. If a similar subject was adopted by Subhash Ghai and Yash Chopra, it would be called a 'classy sex' film." Of course, with strong doses of bhangra numbers, foreign locations and pastel saris added to the base of skin show, huh?
