Shilpa on studies and shoots
She has the best body in showbiz and now some of the best movies in her kitty. "Movies just happened to me," says the gorgeous actress who did Baazigar when she was only 17. Adds Shilpa, "Baazigar was released when I was 18, and offers began to pour in. That's when I decided to take a shot at acting." So how did she manage college? "Well, I tried juggling both, shoots as well as college. But it was getting too taxing. I did the first year of graduation and couldn't take my tests. So dropped out mid-way through my second year but I don't have any regrets. Dad was keen that I complete college but he soon realised that it was impossible," she adds.
