Sanjay Leela mum about Black
Everyone's curious about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next film Black, which he was determined to release before the year end, so that it could qualify for the National Awards. While Bhansali is maintaining a stoic silence about the release date of the film, reportedly it will hit the screens only next year. Says Anshuman Swami of Applause (producers of Black), "We have decided to release the film on January 21 next year." The reason for the postponement is that some work is still to be completed. Besides, the promos of the film aren't ready for a December release (it's a common practice to promote the film for at least a month, if not more, before it is released). With Subhash Ghai's Kisna, Vikram Bhatt's Elaan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black releasing in January, there's so much to look forward to in the first month of 2005.
